Week two is over
Hey. Sorry I'm a day late when I'm getting to the blog! One of my best friends is getting married tonight and I had to leave work early yesterday to get to the wedding rehearsal. I'm so excited for her.
But you're not here to hear about me. Let's talk Jerry Anderson.
Well, one more juror was seated Friday. That means there are only three more jurors to pick. Then the attorneys will have three or four alternates to pick. Judge Cayer will decide that once all the 12 jurors are picked.
The good news is I talked to Robert Campbell yesterday (one of Anderson's attorneys) and he's hopeful opening statements will begin by the end of this coming week. That's good news. I guess it just depends on how long it takes to pick these next five to seven jurors. Anything is possible. We'll know more by this time next week. Isn't that exciting?
