I'll be back

All right. Jerry is staying down here until a bond is made, which will probably happen, I just don't know when. I have to get to work, not that I haven't been working, but it's time to talk to folks. I will definitely write to y'all sometime later. Thanks so much everyone.

This is the same place he was 5/14/07 when this began.

He's in worse shape than if he had been found guilty, he may be free but this is still hanging over him. At least if he had been found guilty he could have appealed, how is he going to clear his name?

I believe everyone needs to stop arguing about it. If he is guilty, the Lord will deal with it, if he is not then the true murderer will face his day.

ALL I HAVE TO SAY IT "THANKS GOD FOR MR. BARKER"!!!! HIS STATEMENT WAS "GOD TOLD ME TO STICK WITH GUILTY". 4 OTHER JURORS MINDS WERE CHANGED FROM GUILTY TO NOT, WONDER IF THEY WERE JUST UNDER PRESSURE THAT'S WHY THEY CHANGED THERE DECISION. WEAK PEOPLES MINDS CAN BE CHANGED UNDER PRESURE FROM OTHERS, GLAD THIS MAN STAYED STRONG & KEPT HIS DECISION! HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND FOKES.......

There is a difference between being strong and feeble minded. If he had really looked at the evidence presented (OR LACK OF EVIDENCE), he would have changed his mind. Some will do anything for 10seconds of air time.

"GOD TOLD ME TO STICK WITH GUILTY"

I'm so tired of people blaming their actions on this religion thingy. God isn't real. Religion is a trick to keep the weak minded in line. E.g., Mr. Barker. E.g., most of the problems with the world today.

And now religion has managed to keep the noose around Mr. Anderson's neck.

The irony being that his church is bailing him out. What a grand twist. "God" certainly is sending mixed messages don't ya think?

I saw the interview with Mr. Barker; He said it all; “I kept asking the other juror’s to prove he didn’t do it and they couldn’t” Guilty till proven innocent hope he’s never on a jury again.

I can't believe my church is posting bond, surely this is not true. No business meeeting, no deacons' meeting, no discussion. I hope this is not where my past tithe is going. Sad days ahead at Dry Ponds.

I find it funny how people say "GOD" will exact revenge upon a person...Especially when things don't turn out in their favor...I think I will take a lawsuit against the "LOTTERY" because I have'nt won yet...If I lose then GOD will know I am right because the "POLITICIANS" are all CROOKED...Makes sense to me....Just thinking....Sorry

Do you feel as I do, whether you believe GUILTY or NOT GUILTY, the investigation by the CCSO was shody, sad & pitiful. The DA's office should have never taken this case to trial until a proper & correct investigation was done. JUSTICE WAS NOT DONE, whether you believe GUILTY or NOT GUILTY.

I admire Mr. Barker for doing what his heart and soul compelled him to do and vote guilty, and not giving in to all the pressure there must have been on him. If Jerry Anderson was truly innocent, he should have had no problem taking the stand and proclaiming his innocence. He might have gotten a vote of 12 to 0 in his favor. But could it be he has plenty of incriminating things to hide and wouldn't dare get on that stand? I believe that is the case and there was enough evidence there for a guilty vote. If Jerry is later found to be the true killer, will all of his supporters still "sing his praises" and proclaim him as your "hero"? Do you realize you may be cozying up to the likely killer?

Based on facts and not feeling I would hope not....

Cragg, what are you up for? I did not not they had a law against "running off at the mouth".
You and this aillison need to get together and go see JA and tell him how much you love him. Maybe he will split his million's with you. Just another OJ story.

Pal Joey.....

Amazing that Barker can sit thru 5 weeks of testimony (presentation of the case facts) and vote guilty based that his heart and soul compelled him to do. This empty suit occupied a real juror chair but refused to argue the facts. Inconceivable that he heard the same case as the other 11 jurors.

drypondsgirl I hope you just watched the news again to see that friends of Jerry Anderson are posting his bond. That was an error on channel 9 news part. Relax, the church wouldn't make a decision like that without a deacons meeting atleast. All decisions are brought before the deacons first.
