11 down and one to go

Hey all. Sorry that I did not write yesterday. Man, it's been a crazy cops week in the area. Action progressed in Gastonia this week. Attorneys agreed on one juror Thursday and one juror Friday. That means 11 people have been seated to determine Jerry Anderson's fate. Attorneys have one more person to decide on. Then, they'll have two to four alternate jurors to select.
I spoke with Robert Campbell this afternoon (who is always kind enough to answer my daily phone calls) and he hopes opening statements will begin by Thursday. That's if they can pick five jurors in three days. It took them nine days to pick nine jurors and four days this week to pick two jurors... so??
Anyway, I just know everyone is ready for this thing to begin. I'm looking forward to being down there and blogging three or four times a day to get information to you.
