Hey guys. We are breaking for lunch. The jurors will return at 2. So no worries about missing the verdict over your lunch break. I promise I will try to let y'all know something as soon as I know something. We're just playing the waiting game. At least now we can play the waiting game with food on our stomachs.

of course he did it, but he didn't drive her. thats why he made so many calls to prove he was here, he gave someone a gun and some money to go and leave -one of his workers who they called mexicans wanted to go back to mexico and he gave them a way to get there at his convinience.

I agree with psycic..i believe he paid someone to drive the truck to sc..head on down to tx or mexico..gave them the tools and money to get ride of the weapon and they left something in the truck and that is why they came back to it..then called from tx and headed on down to mexico..no one would be none the wiser...guilty but verdict will be not guilty

Remember I posted a bit about the Ramseys herding people into court and sitting there making faces and all kinds of jesters. WELL guess what? The Judge got sick of it also and had one of the Ramsey Women removed from the court room and ordered her never to return! Now if you think I was just making all that up, watch the news! They appear to me as GROUPIES. Manson had followers that acted the same way.

Lee - Who was thrown out?
I don't think I've seen very many posts saying he was innocent, several that say he will be found not guilty. It appears the general consensus is he did it but is going to get away with it. just from what I've read here.

The Ramsey's are friends of both Jerry and Emily. They rented the house to J&E and went to church with them. So you can imagine how upsetting this can be for some of them.

Allison - Yeah I do and I hate it for them.
They may be upset... bless their little souls... but at least they're breathing, unlike Emily. They better be careful though... bad things seem to happen to people who stay around Jerry for any extended period of time.
The Ramseys are no friends of Emily or they wouldn't treat Dee (Emily's sister the way they have)They are there to support Jerry. And that's OK. Just act like adults.
I'm sure this is upsetting for a lot of people. Even those who knew neither of them. I think the devil not only used someone to end a very decent person's life, but has now managed to do worse by dividing a church and giving non believers even more reason to be wary of those who claim to be Christians. This has brought shame to the Lord's name because so many who claim to be his children have given in to bickering, lying, and arguing. If I didn't know God personally I wouldn't want to hear much about him from most people involved in this situation.

Lee - I respect your right to an opinion but when you go to talking about things you have no knowledge of then I have to disagree with you. If you ever saw Emily and Kathy together or any of the other people Emily considered friends in Sawmills then you would have known who Emily considered a friend. Kathy and Emily were friends and I'm sure that Kathy misses Emily as much as anyone else. But just because the Ramsey's or anyone else didn't turn their back on Jerry and put faith in what he's said doesn't mean they weren't friends with Emily. Speak about stuff you know about, not stuff you don't! You are right though they are their to support Jerry and that's because they think he didn't do it. Just like Emily's family thinks he did.

Boy the end of this trial has brought out more new names from the woodwork than I have ever seen. You folks are pretty hard on each other down there. Is the home of the Hatfields and McCoys? Be nice to one another.

Lee, to me, the Ramsey's testimony came across as very mature and intelligent. Dee's testimony came across as emotional and vindictive. No offense meant on that. I'm sure I would be emotional too. Understandably though, maybe you are too close to the forest and are reading too much into the Ramsey's actions. Possible?

You do no know me and you do not know how much I know. You apparently misread my post. I said that the Ramseys were no friends of Emily. Or they would not have treated Dee the way they have. I know what they claim to be and I know that Emily liked everyone, even those that would turn their backs on the truth. So anyway before you make such positive statements about what I know and don't know....you should find out the facts.
Lee - I didn't misread your entry. But I take offense when someone talks poorly of good people. I don't know how the Ramsey's have treated Dee, you're right. But I also don't know how Dee or any of Emily's friends and family have treated the Ramsey's, or Jerry.
I can honestly say that I saw how Kathy and Emily interacted and I would have sworn that was a close friendship. And if the truth you speak of them turning their backs on is the truth the CCSD and DA put together to bring to trial...then it's pretty obvious that more than the Ramsey's should have turned their backs on what is being passed as truth.

Please get your facts straight before you start taking up for people who also claimed to be friends of Emily, but who clearly have shown by their actions in the courtroom how much respect they have for her!

Yeah. so.... I am talking about their testimony. Don't I have a right to do that? To me, Dee came across as catty. She seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. I don't fault her on that, but maybe just maybe it is clouding her judgment about the way the Ramsey's were supposedly acting. Is it OK with you if I make that point?
Hell, if the Ramsey's or any of that gang from Dry Ponds were friends of Emily's why did they let Anderson treat her the way he did.

Wow.....This has turned into a real stone throwing argument here..As ret- said a lot of people have come out of the woodwork here..I am from this area and there is a huge split in this community...It is a shame that it has to be this way...Are we not all adults here??...Either way the verdict goes, someones going to be hurt....Thats life plain and simple..Regardless of the outcome our lives will go on as usual,however the families concerned in this case will forever be changed....Thanks
Allison, why bring up the testimony? And who said anything about Dee stating how they were acting in court. The JUDGE got tired of it and kicked her out, not Dee! If my sister was murdered and people who were saying they were her friends was in the courtroom making faces, I would have a chip on my shoulder too! Let's not forget that this is about justice for Emily!

Professionally I do find it interesting reading about the case and also listening to others well thought out comments.

I say not guilty but I'm afraid it will be a hung jury because clearly emotions are running high everywhere.
