Still in deliberations
There's a lot of pacing, a lot of staring forward, and in my corner, a lot of talk about football. I wish I had more to tell you guys. Folks are talking to each other, some folks still reading the newspapers and folks with computers surfing the Web. Like I said, the prosecution team doesn't stay in the courtroom while the jurors are off deliberating. The defense attorneys are on their computers. I believe Campbell is in the holding cell talking with Jerry. Judge Cayer is in his chambers. Who knows what he is up to. I am sure all of these people have other cases to work on. I am trying to get some other work done, but we keep talking about football, which is my favorite sport in the world. It appears one of the guards is reading. Another is talking to a clerk. We are all waiting. Just waiting. I thought with the jurors asking for instructions they would make a decision. I guess there are people in that room with different opinions. I will try to let y'all know immediately if something happens. No red light yet.

Probably no verdict today !!
I doubt it very serioulsy! I think we will have a hung jury. I think we have one or two that are holding out on guilty and not looking at the evidence. I say hung? Anyone else?
JM-Thanks for the update. This has been a long day of waiting, checking and then waiting some more. I know it makes for long days for you but I am glad you have found someone to have interesting football debates with. Keep up the good work.
Easy cardboard you have been nice up till now !!
Hopefully they will come out at 4:30 Hung!
Did you guys see the other murder trial that has been going on in NC? The jury got the case on Friday afternoon. Verdict came today, guilty. Makes you wonder what the Anderson jury is up to....
what other murder case in NC?
I saw the other case on t.v. I believe if this jury was going to return a guilty verdict, it would have already happened. I would like to see them return some verdict instead of a hung jury. I don't want to see either family, JA's or EA's, have to go back thru all of this in court. Maybe they will return a non-guilty verdict and the CCSD can bring some new investiagtors in and get to the bottom and find out what really happened and who done it and why.
A woman shot her husband in Iredell County. He was a police officer. She claims accident, and even his family is standing by her. Nevertheless, she was convicted of 1st Degree murder today and sentenced to life w/o parole.
Ready.
WCNC just said they would break in if there is a Verdict .
I'm sure there won't be today
Or maybe there will be............
